Position Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with engineers, managers, and various departments, providing insights into the operations and engineering functions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design of natural gas facilities and pipelines, including stress analysis and equipment selection.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support capital project completion.
  • Conduct engineering evaluations, identify opportunities for improvement, and prepare reports for existing and proposed infrastructure.
  • Research and establish design standards.
  • Propose process enhancements and ensure adherence to company and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program, preferably with a focus on Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Third or Fourth year).
  • Participating in a Co-op program.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a current driving record.

Additional Skills

  • A strong interest in the energy sector and utility operations.
  • Familiarity with CAD software.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and P&ID diagrams of piping systems.
  • Effective public speaking skills.
  • Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in report and memo writing within a corporate context.
