Company Overview:
Aversan Inc. is a distinguished engineering firm specializing in the aerospace and defense sectors. We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Project Engineer will deliver scheduling, administrative, and technical assistance to project teams to ensure that project objectives are achieved.
  • Responsibilities may include:
    • Technical: Identify issues, initiate corrective actions, assist in problem resolution, and assess outcomes on significant matters before finalizing designs.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers as a technical resource for their designated series, facilitating customer interactions and addressing needs.
    • Conduct risk evaluations and support the job hazard analysis process while actively engaging in health, safety, and environmental programs.
    • Coordinate cross-disciplinary project design outputs and take part in quality assessments.
    • Schedule resources for their segment of a project under the supervision of a Manager or Supervisor.
    • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and reliability standards.

Project Execution:
  • This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Participate actively in group discussions while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Be prepared for occasional shift work and overtime, including weekend and backshift responsibilities.
  • Ensure that scheduled milestones are achieved and notify relevant parties if deadlines are not met.
  • Comply with all operational and implementation policies.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all business activities and adhere to the client site conduct code.
  • Encourage a culture that reflects the core values of the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Education: A University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and MS Office software is essential; experience with Primavera scheduling is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD is mandatory.
  • Experience working on-site in a Nuclear facility is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Engineering Change Control process is advantageous.

Experience:
  • Background in a technical setting on large-scale engineering and construction projects, particularly in the nuclear sector, is necessary.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles, documentation, and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of scheduling practices is beneficial.
