Company Overview: Aversan Inc. is a distinguished engineering firm that specializes in providing technical expertise within the aerospace and defense sectors. We are currently in search of a Project Engineer to support our client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Project Engineer will deliver scheduling, administrative, and technical assistance to project teams to ensure that project objectives are achieved.
  • Responsibilities include identifying issues, initiating corrective actions, assisting in problem resolution, and evaluating outcomes on significant matters before releasing designs for implementation.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers as a technical resource for assigned projects, facilitating effective communication with clients.
  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to the job hazard analysis process while actively engaging in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary project design outputs and take part in quality assurance reviews.
  • Manage resource scheduling for project segments under the supervision of a Manager or Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with work quality, safety, and reliability standards.
Project Execution:
  • Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Work effectively within a team environment and contribute to group discussions safely.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Be prepared for occasional shift work and overtime, including weekend and backshift coverage.
  • Ensure that project milestones are achieved and notify relevant stakeholders if deadlines are not met.
  • Adhere to all operational and implementation policies.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all business activities and comply with the client site conduct code.
  • Promote a culture that reflects the core values of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A completed University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and MS Office applications; experience with Primavera scheduling is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD is essential.
  • Experience in a Nuclear facility setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Engineering Change Control (ECC) process is advantageous.
Experience:
  • Experience in a technical role within large-scale engineering and construction projects, particularly in nuclear environments, is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A solid understanding of fundamental engineering principles, documentation, and processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of scheduling processes is beneficial.
