Job Title: Security Guard Float Pool

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our Float Pool team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff at our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol interior and exterior of site, including in inclement weather
  • Remain calm in emergency situations and effectively respond to incidents
  • Follow and enforce site rules and regulations as set out by both the client and Paladin
  • Operate independently as well as part of a team to complete tasks
  • Complete reports at the end of shift as well as incident reports
  • Compassionately interact with patients and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
  • Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
  • Immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
  • Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
  • Minimum 6 months healthcare security experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of non-healthcare security experience required
