Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our Float Pool team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing security services to our clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide security services to clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Patrol interior and exterior of sites, including in inclement weather
  • Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
  • Follow and enforce site rules and regulations as set out by both the client and Paladin
  • Operate independently as well as part of a team to complete tasks
  • Complete reports at the end of shift as well as incident reports
  • Compassionately interact with patients
  • English proficiency (oral & written) is required
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
  • 6+ months of customer service experience is considered an asset
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Stay Safe

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
  • Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
  • A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
  • Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
  • Minimum 6 months healthcare security experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of non-healthcare security experience required
