Why We Are Looking for You:

FYidoctors is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Optical Associate.

The Optical Associate plays a vital role in our organization, contributing to our success by providing exceptional service to our patients. As the first point of contact for many, your passion for people and commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences will be essential. Your contributions will positively influence the health and well-being of our current and future patients.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 30 or more hours per week, with a schedule from Wednesday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educating clients on the best eyewear options for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive optimal value and quality
  • Informing patients about advancements in corrective eyewear solutions and assisting them in selecting frames that meet their aesthetic and performance needs
  • Interpreting optical prescriptions as provided by optometrists
  • Conducting frame and facial measurements to ensure proper fit and positioning of eyewear
  • Submitting prescription eyewear orders to the manufacturing lab
  • Performing repairs and adjustments on patients' eyewear
  • Organizing and maintaining the retail display area
  • Contributing to the achievement of store retail sales goals
  • Upholding high standards of customer service through your interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail setting
  • Familiarity with the optical field or knowledge of routine eye care is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Professional demeanor and a genuine enthusiasm for interacting with people
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using technology and proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Committed to excelling as part of a high-performing team
