Alio Health Services, a Calian Company, is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Attendant.
Key Qualifications:- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French is advantageous.
- Availability to work various shifts, including day, evening, and night.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- A recent police check for the vulnerable sector (within the last year) is necessary.
- A negative TB test from the past year is essential.
- Access to a mobile device and the internet is required.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Capability to monitor patients attentively for extended durations.
- Quick response skills are essential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- High levels of patience and calmness are necessary.
- Respectful demeanor is expected.
- Technological proficiency is required.
- Attendants must maintain a professional appearance and wear an identification badge.
- Attendants are required to remain in the patient's room at all times.
- Continuous observation of the patient is mandatory.
- Reading is permitted while the patient is resting (no use of phones, tablets, or earbuds).
- All concerns and observations must be reported to the assigned nurse immediately.
- Attendants should engage in conversation with the patient.
- Under no circumstances should a patient be left unattended.
- Extended conversations with other patients are not allowed.
- Providing advice to patients is prohibited.
- Patient confidentiality must be upheld at all times.
