Alio Health Services, a Calian Company, is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Attendant.

Key Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French is advantageous.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including day, evening, and night.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • A recent police check for the vulnerable sector (within the last year) is necessary.
  • A negative TB test from the past year is essential.
  • Access to a mobile device and the internet is required.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Capability to monitor patients attentively for extended durations.
  • Quick response skills are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • High levels of patience and calmness are necessary.
  • Respectful demeanor is expected.
  • Technological proficiency is required.
Expectations for Patient Care Attendants:
  • Attendants must maintain a professional appearance and wear an identification badge.
  • Attendants are required to remain in the patient's room at all times.
  • Continuous observation of the patient is mandatory.
  • Reading is permitted while the patient is resting (no use of phones, tablets, or earbuds).
  • All concerns and observations must be reported to the assigned nurse immediately.
  • Attendants should engage in conversation with the patient.
  • Under no circumstances should a patient be left unattended.
  • Extended conversations with other patients are not allowed.
  • Providing advice to patients is prohibited.
  • Patient confidentiality must be upheld at all times.
