Alio Health Services, a Calian Company, is seeking a dedicated Patient Observer.
Key Qualifications:- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of French is advantageous.
- Availability for various shifts including day, evening, and night.
- Current CPR certification is mandatory.
- Recent police clearance for the vulnerable sector is required.
- Negative TB test results from the past year are necessary.
- Access to a mobile device and the internet is required.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Capability to monitor patients attentively for extended durations.
- Quick response skills are essential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- High levels of patience and calmness are required.
- Respectful demeanor is essential.
- Technological proficiency is expected.
- Observers must present themselves in a professional manner with identification.
- Observers are required to remain in the patient's room at all times.
- Constant vigilance and observation of the patient is necessary.
- Reading is permitted while the patient is resting (no electronic devices).
- All concerns and observations must be reported to the assigned nurse immediately.
- Engagement and communication with the patient are required.
- Observers must never leave a patient unattended under any circumstances.
- Extended conversations with other patients are not allowed.
- Providing advice to patients is prohibited.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality is paramount.
