About Our Opportunity

As a Customer Service Representative in Transaction Services, your primary responsibility will be to process transactions and deliver high-quality service to both individual and business clients.

Key Responsibilities

In a dynamic and fast-paced service environment, you will:

  • Examine records and process documentation while adhering to relevant legislation and policies.
  • Issue essential identity documents, including Driver's Licenses and Nova Scotia Identification cards.
  • Maintain security and control over public funds and manage inventory effectively.
  • Handle data entry and retrieval with a focus on confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Engage with the public, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, you should possess a minimum of four years of experience in a fast-paced, front-line customer service setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Experience in account balancing.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A proven ability to manage challenging interactions with the public.
  • Proficient data entry and computer skills.
  • A strong capacity to learn, organize, and apply policies and procedures.
  • Effective prioritization and problem-solving skills.

Additional assets include knowledge of Service Nova Scotia programs, bilingual proficiency (French and English), experience in financial reconciliation, and cash handling expertise.

Pay Grade: CL 18

Salary Range: $1, $1,884.17 Bi-Weekly
