About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Briggs Roofing and Siding Limited. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal roofs, and masonry tiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Install sheet metal flashings
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in roofing or a related field
  • Working at heights training and fall arrest protection training
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Own transportation and steel-toed safety boots
Work Environment

As a Roofing Specialist, you will work outdoors in various locations, often at heights. You must be physically demanding and able to handle heavy loads. Our work environment is fast-paced, and you will be required to work 30-55 hours per week.

Language and Work Setting

The primary language of work is English, and you will be working in a variety of locations. You must be able to communicate effectively with our team and clients.
