About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating complex claims, managing stressful calls, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and evaluate complex claims, including personal lines damages and potential exposure to catastrophic claims
- Manage stressful calls and clearly communicate decisions to claimants, brokers, and contractors
- Effectively manage a busy day-to-day schedule and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Provide a great customer experience and build strong relationships with stakeholders
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in an insurance-focused program or related field
- Completed or working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
- Minimum of 5-8 years of property claims handling experience
- Experience with Xactimate and Encircle is an asset
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to clearly communicate with claimants, brokers, and contractors
