As a Senior Property Claims Adjuster, you will be an integral part of a proactive team that emphasizes meticulous attention to detail while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role will involve thorough and prompt investigations into Personal Lines damages, which may include incidents such as theft, loss of jewelry, wind-related claims, and potential exposure to catastrophic claims. In addition to claims management, you will engage with subrogation cases and support leadership with various projects as needed.
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in investigating and assessing complex scenarios
- Ability to handle challenging calls and communicate clear decisions regarding claims
- Proficient in managing a busy daily schedule
- Commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field or equivalent
- Completion or progress towards the CIP designation
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in Property Claims Handling
- Familiarity with Xactimate and Encircle is advantageous
- Strong technical proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills with Claimants, Brokers, and Contractors
