About the Role:
As a Property Claims Adjuster at Northbridge Financial Corporation, you will be part of a dynamic team that prides itself on having a sharp eye on detail while keeping the customer experience top of mind.
Our Property Adjusters provide efficient and prompt investigation on Personal Lines damages, including theft, disappearance of jewelry, wind claims, and potential exposure to CAT claims. Along with claims handling, they will be heavily involved with subrogation files and assist our Leaders with ad-hoc projects that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly investigate and evaluate complex situations
- Manage stressful calls and clearly deliver decisions on claims
- Effectively manage a busy day-to-day schedule
- Provide a great customer experience
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance-focused program or related program
- Completed or working towards the CIP designation
- A minimum of 5-8 years of Property Claims Handling
- Experience with Xactimate and Encircle is an asset
- Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite
- Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and Contractors
