The Automotive Operations Specialist position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, classified as an hourly role based on business requirements.
The Automotive Operations Specialist serves as a key holder for the establishment and acts as the manager on duty (MOD) in the absence of the Store Manager or during peak demand periods.
This role is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer service experience and contributing to the sales of automotive repair services and tires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers both in-store and over the phone, engaging with them, scheduling appointments, building rapport, understanding their needs, communicating processes and timelines, and presenting necessary services following the Monro sales approach.
- Assist management in various aspects of customer service, work order completion, register support, facility upkeep, and ordering of external supplies.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures related to cash handling, credit, checks, refunds, and returns. Collaborate with the management team to address customer service issues, complaints, and business opportunities.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as governmental standards, including environmental regulations and ANSI/OSHA standards. Consistently apply all required safety protocols as outlined in training and company policies.
- Work alongside management to ensure a safe and healthy work environment that meets all local, state, and federal regulations, in addition to company policies.
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Availability to work during Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays.
This position operates within an automotive shop environment, which may involve exposure to moderate noise levels, varying weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
