We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual General Manager to join our team at Surgenor Automotive Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the profitable and successful operation of one of our dealerships in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.
Key Responsibilities- Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff to ensure overall successful operation, maintain manufacturer standards, and create a positive working environment.
- Weekly Meetings: Conduct weekly meetings with sales staff and managers to review market share, advertising, inventory, F&I, CSI, and more.
- Dealership Management: Focus on client and employee satisfaction, making informed operating decisions, handling concerns or inquiries efficiently and effectively.
- Vehicle Inventory: Review and manage vehicle inventory monthly to meet forecasted demand, while also managing wholesale interest charges.
- Used Inventory: Review used inventory weekly to ensure fair values, represent a suitable mix, and are totally reconditioned/available for customer demonstration.
- Management Experience: Industry experience, or related - automotive, service, transportation, hospitality, or more.
- Bilingualism: Fluency in French and English.
- Previous Experience: Previous GSM or GM Automotive experience.
- Skills: Ability to balance various priorities, be the point of contact for the team and departments, communicative, engaging, resourceful, hold a strong sales acumen, and fit with the required responsibilities.
