The Role:

The Director of International Campus Operations will oversee the effective educational delivery to all students on campus. This role is pivotal in onboarding and retaining students through the implementation and management of high-quality customer service, instructional delivery, and career placement systems.

Responsibilities Include:

Recruiting, training, and mentoring team members. Communicating grading timelines and ensuring timely submission of grades by instructors. Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in all aspects of program delivery while aligning with the Quality Assurance Framework. Collaborating with Academic Services to support Program Coordinators and Instructors in curriculum development initiatives. Addressing the educational, physical, social, and special needs of students. Ensuring programs adhere to the established course sequences and exam schedules, facilitating student graduation and certification. Conducting quality assurance surveys and evaluating classroom satisfaction. Authorizing student terminations and dismissals in accordance with established policies. Managing instructor schedules and professional development opportunities. Reviewing Quality Assurance Surveys and initiating necessary corrective actions. Planning and facilitating onboarding activities for new instructors. Maintaining positive relationships and regular communication with international education partners. Collaborating with Employment Specialists to develop employer contacts for internship placements and graduate job placements. Recommending and implementing systems, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Leading new student orientation events and activities. Ensuring effective use of the capital budget for classroom equipment and maintaining an optimal educational environment. Performing other duties as assigned that align with the best interests of the College.

Qualifications:

A post-secondary degree in education, business, or technology. A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a similar educational setting. Familiarity with instructional techniques (teaching experience is an asset). Understanding of educational delivery for international students. Knowledge of the regulatory landscape for education in Ontario. Awareness of sales and customer service principles. Experience with accounting, budgeting, and financial statements. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license; travel within the Greater Toronto Area may be necessary.
