Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning & Oversight
- Develop and implement strategic plans in alignment with SAIT's 5-year Strategic Plan, engaging faculty, staff, and students in creating a school plan that supports institutional objectives.
- Lead initiatives that promote student recruitment, student learning supports, international learning opportunities, and global recognition for the School.
- Ensure the quality, relevance, and alignment of academic programs with industry needs, maintaining high academic standards and compliance with accreditation standards.
- Utilize data analytics to guide decision-making and assess the effectiveness of academic and business strategies.
- Leadership & Development
- Provide senior leadership and direction to direct and indirect reports, ensuring alignment to SAIT's mission and vision.
- Encourage and support responsive communication, respect, and teamwork within the school and the institution.
- Manage and support employees through the employment lifecycle, upholding Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) principles in all decision-making processes.
- Support a culture of scholarly activity focused on student learning and faculty development.
- Support student and graduate placements through strong industry partnerships and strategic alliances.
- Stay updated on academic and industry trends to adapt program content and delivery.
- Financial Management
- Oversee budget development and financial planning, ensuring efficient resource management and program viability.
- Monitor financial performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain fiscal responsibility and support the School's growth.
