Overview

Cambridge Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and services
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
  • At least two years of experience in an Emergency Program
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Excellent physical assessment skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
