Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Day Care team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and supportive environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Surgical Day Care department, including pre-anesthetic and post-anesthetic care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment by promoting open communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Graduate of a recognized School of Nursing.
- Experience in Surgical Day Care or Perioperative Nursing.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
