As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and supportive environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the Surgical Day Care department, including pre-anesthetic and post-anesthetic care.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment by promoting open communication and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Graduate of a recognized School of Nursing.
  • Experience in Surgical Day Care or Perioperative Nursing.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
