Rehabilitation Support Specialist - Iroquois Falls Clinic
Lyrette Physiotherapy is expanding its team. We are in search of a Rehabilitation Support Specialist for our newly established clinical site in Iroquois Falls. This position is full-time, comprising 37.5 hours per week. We provide a competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits, and a group retirement savings plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather client subjective information with informed consent regarding their physical condition and functional capabilities;
  • Assist in delivering and implementing rehabilitation interventions under the direct supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist, ensuring safety and efficiency;
  • Observe and document client responses and progress during assigned interventions;
  • Communicate treatment results promptly and effectively;
  • Collaborate within the practice and with a multidisciplinary team;
  • Adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and workplace protocols;
  • Engage in continuous professional development.

Qualifications:
  • Bilingual proficiency;
  • Graduated from an accredited PTA/OTA program with knowledge of rehabilitation services in clinical, home care, and long-term care environments;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Accountability in responsibilities;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor;
  • Understanding of exercises and musculoskeletal anatomy;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities;
  • Experience in long-term care settings is an advantage.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the service area;
  • Proof of Covid vaccinations;
  • Negative result from 2-step TB testing;
  • Must provide a Police and Vulnerable Sector Screening Check.
