Occupational Health and Safety Partner Opportunity

The Counsel Network is seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Partner to join its successful team in Edmonton. As a key member of the Labour & Employment practice group, you will assist public and private employers with a variety of matters related to occupational health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Occupational Health & Safety matters relating to all aspects of the investigation and defense of charges under relevant legislation.
  • Provide advice on occupational health and safety law, Workers Compensation Board issues, health law, and the defense of claims against physicians and insurers.
  • Be part of the Labour & Employment practice group to help manage the practice for clients across a broad range of industries.
  • Provide mentorship and support to the office's growing Labour & Employment Group.

We are looking for an individual with 8+ years of experience in assisting public and private employers with a wide variety of labour and employment matters. Strong commercial acumen, outstanding client care skills, and excellent practice management skills are essential for this role.
