Job Summary

The Counsel Network is seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join its team in Edmonton. As an OH&S Partner, you will play a key role in assisting clients with occupational health and safety matters, including investigation and defense of charges under relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on occupational health and safety law, Workers Compensation Board issues, and health law.
  • Collaborate with the Labour & Employment practice group to manage client relationships across various industries.
  • Develop and support business growth opportunities.
  • Mentor and support the office's Labour & Employment Group.
Requirements
  • LL.B. or J.D. degree (or equivalent).
  • Good standing with a Canadian Law Society.
  • 8+ years of experience in labour and employment law.
  • Strong commercial acumen, excellent client care skills, and practice management skills.
  • A full or partial portable practice is preferred.
