As we continue to expand and meet the evolving needs of our esteemed clients, we are looking to enhance our team with a Control Systems Engineer. This role is based at our headquarters and involves collaboration with a team of highly skilled engineers.

In this position, you will engage in the design, programming, integration, troubleshooting, and support of both new and existing automated control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming of PLCs
  • Design and programming of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI)
  • Troubleshooting electrical, PLC, and HMI systems
  • Interfacing with real-time database applications to manage essential production data
  • Supporting project proposals and estimations
  • Preparing functional specifications
  • Assisting in equipment selection and procurement
  • Commissioning and installation on-site
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager
  • Providing on-call service/support for existing systems
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in programming languages (C, C#, VBA, SQL, Ladder Logic, or others)
  • Familiarity with PLCs (e.g., ControlLogix, Modicon, Siemens S7) is advantageous
  • Experience with HMIs (e.g., FactoryTalkView, Wonderware, iFix) is beneficial
  • Understanding of IT/Networking and database applications is a plus
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of industrial environments, engineering, and production processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
  • Willingness to fulfill all security clearance requirements as necessary
  • Availability to travel up to 40% throughout the year
