About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our Minerals and Metals Business line, you will be responsible for leading a team of Supply Chain professionals in negotiating the best value for Ausenco and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and manage procurement contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to review and monitor changes.
  • Manage procurement and contracting activities in EPC and EPCM environments.
  • Delegate responsibilities and assignments to team members.
  • Assure staffing requirements are met to support the work.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in business or technical field.
  • SCMP or MCIPS designation(s) would be an asset.
  • 15+ years related experience in project environment managing procurement or contracts.
  • Great interpersonal skills, possessing a high degree of professionalism and customer service.
  • High level of knowledge on using Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project or ERP systems like SmartPlant Materials would be an asset.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to adapt to change.
