About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction General Manager to join our team at Khinda Construction Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including allocating resources, setting priorities, and managing budgets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, and supervisors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
  • Financial Management: Establish and manage financial controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, and delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization as needed.
  • Talent Management: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or business administration.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable and able to undergo a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
