About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at Sunbridge Hotel Toronto East. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Stock Management: Stock linen closet and ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
  • Guest Services: Provide basic information on hotel facilities, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Health and Safety: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and walking.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
