About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Sunbridge Hotel Toronto East. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean and well-maintained, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture, and making beds and changing sheets.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Restock linens, towels, and toiletries, and ensure all housekeeping equipment is in good working order.
  • Guest Services: Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests for extra supplies or other items, and addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
  • Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, walking
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
