Strategic Planner, Wholesale Channel

Under Armour is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planner to join our Wholesale Channel team. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for leading the pre-season financial and inventory planning processes, driving sales, margin, turn, and profitability for the wholesale business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Seasonal Plans: Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities, and develop seasonal plans to drive business growth.
- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with sales teams, regional merchandising teams, and other stakeholders to establish best-in-class planning practices and support the evolution of our planning tools.
- Provide Quarterly Forecasts: Develop and deliver quarterly season style-color forecasts in alignment with our Integrated Planning Calendar.
- Analyze Financial and Market Trends: Analyze financial, market, and customer trends to formulate appropriate strategies in partnership with the cross-functional team.
- Lead Special Projects: Lead special projects and business opportunities on behalf of the Planning team, and provide updated reporting to cross-functional partners on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or minimum 3-5 years merchandise planning experience in a progressive and growth-focused retail organization.
- Strong Excel and Retail Math Skills: Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data, and synthesizing it into effective and actionable insights.
- Ability to Handle Multiple Projects: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within timelines.
- Strong Business Acumen: Strong business acumen specific to revenue, margin, service, and inventory.
- Proven Planning Expertise: Proven planning expertise and demonstrated effective project management skills and experience.
This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office. The role will involve a mix of in-office and remote work, with a 3-day week in-office requirement.
