Reports to: Canadian Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding sales with new opportunities for our existing customers by providing and promoting information about our services.

You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to identify opportunities to position the company's services as a solution to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner, and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing demos of software solutions to potential customers
  2. Working with the Marketing department on campaigns
  3. Use of various tools and techniques to identify potential leads and qualify leads based on predefined criteria
  4. Schedule meetings between qualified leads and the sales team while ensuring a smooth handover by providing detailed background information to the sales team
  5. Assisting with customer complaints and inquiries quickly and efficiently
  6. Answering phone calls and emails in a professional manner
  7. Building positive relationships with customers
  8. Supporting the closing of sales and achieving company quotas
  9. Constantly learning about the company's services to effectively articulate their value proposition to potential clients
  10. Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential clients to enhance outreach strategies and conversations
  11. Assisting Sales Reps as needed

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience within the Transportation and Logistics industry
  • Takes initiative and a strategic approach to sales and business development
  • Customer Oriented: People-focused mindset and excellent in rapport building
  • Confidence using computers and an openness to learn new software
  • Knowledgeable: of sales techniques and tactics including cold-calling, networking, lead generation, all with the ability to capture and close the deal
  • Must have strong multi-tasking abilities, be proactive and adaptable based on the needs of the company and the executives
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis and statistical methods
