About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Insurance Advisor to join our team at BrokerLink in Happy Valley- Goose Bay, NL. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling personal insurance products to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell new business, up-sell, and cross-sell insurance products and services to individual and group clientele.
  • Establish and maintain strong networking relationships through active participation in community marketing initiatives.
  • Complete new applications and support BrokerLink workflows.
  • Qualify clients, measure quality of risk, and ensure proper risk rating is applied.
  • Follow up on daily ex-dates, prospective clients, and quotes not bound.
  • Test new sales strategies, techniques, and processes while providing feedback.
  • Identify the appropriate selling features in each quote and offer relevant products.
  • Stay up-to-date on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
Requirements
  • High school and/or post-secondary education.
  • A valid insurance license for the Province of Newfoundland or willingness to obtain same.
  • Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) is an asset.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
