Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is in search of a committed Registered Nurse to become a vital member of the Discharge Lounge team at Vancouver General Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing services autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and monitor patient care
- Engage in discharge planning and serve as an advocate for patients
- Educate patients and their families on health enhancement strategies
- Record care provided and address any incidents appropriately
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Valid practicing registration as a Registered Nurse
- Proven expertise in nursing practices associated with General Surgery
- Understanding of pathophysiology concerning prevalent diagnoses and surgical procedures
