Position Overview

The role of a Home Support Worker involves providing essential assistance to clients in their residences, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Work Environment

This position is based in the client's home, where the worker will engage directly with individuals needing support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients in aquatic activities, such as swimming.
  • Encourage and support regular physical activities, including walking.
  • Provide assistance with feeding or meal consumption.
  • Deliver personal hygiene care.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals tailored to client needs.
Work Conditions

The role may involve performing repetitive tasks as part of daily routines.

Experience Requirements
  • Prior experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
