Your responsibilities will encompass delivering crucial personal care services to clients in their residences, which includes assistance with grooming, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Beyond these essential tasks, you will also provide companionship and emotional support to foster the overall well-being of our clients.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Delivering personal care services to seniors in their residences
  • Executing light housekeeping duties
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Traveling to and from clients' homes within the community

Qualifications:

  • Compassionate and diligent individual
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize client needs

Required Credentials:

  • Valid PSW Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in using virtual communication platforms

Additional Acceptable Educational Backgrounds:

  • Health Care Aide or Personal Attendant Certificate
  • Physiotherapy Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse student

Preferred Attributes:

  • Availability for weekday and weekend shifts
  • Access to a vehicle for transportation
  • Ability to communicate in languages other than English
