Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at AGTA Home Health Care and Nursing Inc.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and promoting independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in personal care or a related field (an asset)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and transfer clients safely
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Work Environment:

The Personal Support Worker will work in clients' homes, providing care and support in a variety of settings, including rural areas and remote locations.
