Overview: As a Personal Support Worker (PSW) at Circle of Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors within the community. Your responsibilities will encompass delivering essential personal care services to clients in their residences, which includes assistance with grooming, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Additionally, you will provide companionship and emotional support to foster the overall well-being of our clients.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Delivering personal care services to seniors in their residences
  • Conducting light housekeeping duties
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Traveling to and from clients' homes within the community

Essential Requirements:

  • Compassionate and diligent individual
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize clients' needs

Qualifications:

  • Valid PSW Certificate or equivalent credential
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in using ZOOM

Additional Educational Backgrounds Accepted:

  • Health Care Aide or Personal Attendant Certificate
  • Physiotherapy Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse student

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Availability to work on weekdays and weekends
  • Access to a vehicle for travel
  • Ability to communicate in languages other than English
