Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high level of performance of our plant equipment by implementing maintenance procedures, methods, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety:
    • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
    • Verify that all contracts and project sites meet the company's safety policy requirements for employee safety.
  • Inspections:
    • Perform safety inspections of equipment to ensure it meets required standards.
    • Ensure Inspection Routes and Job Plans include Safety Inspection.
    • Initiate work orders based on inspection results, including safety checks.
    • Analyze anomalies and define priorities for each action.
    • Monitor and coordinate condition predictors for critical equipment.
    • Track inspection-related KPIs to improve the inspection process and efficiency.
  • Preventative Maintenance Plans:
    • Evaluate and improve preventive maintenance job plans.
    • Create and update inspection job plans in coordination with the planner.
  • Maintenance Standards and Execution:
    • Ensure maintenance practices comply with Quality Insurance Standards.
    • Organize Major Maintenance Turnaround and Shutdown inspections schedule.
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of equipment condition on a continuous basis.
    • Validate and update equipment specification files and history files.
  • Maintenance Optimization, Root Cause Analysis, and Equipment Reliability:
    • Ensure systematic review, application, and optimization of lubrication programs.
    • Optimize maintenance operations based on equipment availability and workforce.
    • Contribute to failure analysis and recommend corrective actions.
    • Lead RCA initiatives for critical equipment failures.
    • Analyze and propose solutions for recurring problems affecting equipment reliability or safety.
    • Evaluate equipment performance through RCA, FMEA, and Pareto analysis to achieve NAI and MTBF targets.
  • Budgeting:
    • Identify options to extend equipment life.
    • Assist the Maintenance Manager with maintenance budget preparation, ensuring technical justification based on inspection and equipment history.
  • Relationships with Others:
    • Report to the Maintenance Manager and collaborate with the Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Specific Accountabilities:
    • Perform first-level and specific inspections of all plant equipment.
    • Develop a comprehensive vibration analysis and lubrication program.
    • Coordinate with Production to gather feedback on equipment conditions and production constraints.
    • Validate production inspection check sheets and provide feedback to production personnel.
    • Be available as a resource for production personnel to improve first-level inspection processes.
    • Coordinate with Scheduling and Execution to gather feedback on equipment status and job preparation.
    • Validate quality of equipment repair and provide feedback to the maintenance Execution team.
