About the Role:

We are looking for a talented technician to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles. As an Automotive Technician at Bruce Chrysler, you will be responsible for conducting services and repairs on customer vehicles according to established procedures and manufacturers' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles
  • Conduct services and repairs on customer vehicles according to established procedures and manufacturers' requirements
  • Effectively use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized automotive repair equipment
  • Document all information resulting from tests and repairs conducted on vehicles
  • Constantly communicate with service consultants and/or customers for repair progress, additional work, wait times, missing parts, etc.
  • Comply with H&S responsibilities, including safe work procedures and reporting all work-related injuries
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and advisors to ensure timely and efficient repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:

  • 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year Service Station Technician or equivalent experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid driver's license
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to handle lifting up to 70 lbs as part of your responsibilities
