About the Role:

We are looking for a talented technician who is passionate about delivering exceptional vehicle repairs and services. As an Automotive Technician at Bruce Chrysler, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles, conducting services and repairs according to established procedures and manufacturers' requirements, and effectively using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized automotive repair equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles
  • Conduct services and repairs according to established procedures and manufacturers' requirements
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized automotive repair equipment
  • Document all information resulting from tests and repairs conducted on vehicles
  • Communicate with service consultants and customers for repair progress, additional work, wait times, missing parts, etc.
  • Comply with H&S responsibilities, including safe work procedures and reporting all work-related injuries
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and advisors to ensure timely and efficient repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:

  • 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year or Service Station Technician
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to handle lifting up to 70 lbs as part of your responsibilities
