The Audit Manager position represents a mid-level role tasked with conducting moderately intricate audits and evaluations of Citi's risk and control frameworks in collaboration with the Audit team. The primary aim is to leverage extensive subject matter knowledge to ensure compliance with audit standards and regulations while partnering with business leaders to address emerging challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly develop, implement, and present audit reports punctually, adhering to Internal Audit and Regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and endorse the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary, acting as the principal reviewer for all assessments.
- Engage with various teams across the organization to assess the influence on the overall control environment and audit strategy.
- Direct audit operations for a segment of a product line, function, or legal entity at the regional or national level.
- Utilize comprehensive expertise to lead a team effectively.
- Guide the business on transformation initiatives while promoting integrated auditing concepts and the adoption of technology.
- Propose interventions for identified issues, suggest solutions for risk and control challenges, and collaborate with Directors and Managing Directors to formulate strategies for broader corporate matters.
- Apply a thorough understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies, and regulations to a specific product or functional area.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of pertinent experience.
- Preferred certifications include CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or similar.
- Strong understanding of the business aspects of the audit function and subject matter expertise regarding technology applications.
- Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient project management skills.
- Strong influencing and relationship management capabilities.
- Proven ability to maintain impartiality in a diverse work environment.
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree; Master's degree is preferred.
