Internal Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Audit Manager to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will be responsible for leading internal audit engagements, providing assurance on the effectiveness of our internal controls, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead internal audit engagements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Develop and implement audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls
- Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of high risk and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
- Provide recommendations for process improvements to management and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of audit recommendations
- 5-8 years of experience in internal audit or a related field
- CPA, CA, or CIA designation
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
