Internal Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of internal audit, advisory, and NI 52-109 engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead a team of Senior Auditors, providing coaching, feedback, and opportunities for growth and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with management teams across the organization, providing trusted business advice and insights.
- Lead advisory projects to enhance business strategies and objectives, providing expert operational risk advice and recommendations for process improvements.
- Contribute to the thought leadership and continuous improvement of internal audit processes and internal control matters.
- Manage various internal audit engagements, ensuring they are well-planned, staffed appropriately, and delivered on time.
- 5-8 years of experience in audit/assurance/consulting, with a focus on internal audit or consulting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- CPA, CA, or CIA designations are required, with CISA, CFE, or MBA designations being an asset.
- Experience working at the Big 4 professional services firms is an advantage.
