Radiation Technologist, CT Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Technologist, CT to join our team at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly growing organization with health professionals who are excellent in their respective fields.
Key Responsibilities- Perform special procedure examinations in CT, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
- Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, responding to any emergent situations.
- Operate computerized imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
- Facilitate workflow in the designated work area, prioritizing tasks and managing resources effectively.
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, using data to inform decision-making and improve services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography.
- One year of recent, related experience, including supervisory experience.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification - Basic Life Support (BCLS) level.
