About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Expert to join our team at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. As a key member of our Enterprise Data Office, you will play a critical role in leading our data transformation efforts by improving data management capabilities and enabling our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement standardized frameworks, processes, and controls to measure and improve data and information governance performance.
  • Participate in corporate information and data governance committees to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to identify opportunities to leverage data for strategic advantage and document data-driven business initiatives.
  • Lead the management of data-driven initiatives and ensure they support business objectives aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in the design, development, and operationalization of comprehensive corporate information governance policies.
Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as computer systems, information management, or business administration.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in data governance and management, including 5 years in a leadership role.
  • An extensive experience with data management practices, processes, and technologies.
  • A strong knowledge of governance frameworks and performance measures.
  • Bilingualism (English and French).
