About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Strategist to join our team at BRP. As a Data Governance Strategist, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining our data governance landscape and program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Provide strategic guidance to data producers and users on data governance best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data governance risks and opportunities.
  • Design and implement data governance solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain data governance metrics and reporting to measure program effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Relevant post-secondary education in data, computing science, business, economics, operations research, engineering, statistics, data governance, or other technical disciplines.
  • 5+ years' experience in data management, data governance, change management, and implementation of complex technology systems.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality concepts, as well as best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence and orient business and technical audiences.
