Job Summary

Alamos Gold Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team at Young-Davidson. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling mobile maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective mobile maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and other planners to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
  • Conduct regular reviews of maintenance schedules and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.
  • Work closely with OEM suppliers and 3rd party labor contractors to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to mobile maintenance team members as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of underground mobile equipment, including CAT LHDs, Epiroc 282 Jumbos, and Sandvik long hole drills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure the maintenance team remains competitive and efficient.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in mobile maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.
  • Strong understanding of SAP and other CMMS systems, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and SAP.
  • 3-5 years of maintenance planning experience, with a focus on mobile equipment maintenance.
