Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Perioperative Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Perioperative Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room and perioperative areas.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in the operating room. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the operating room and perioperative areas
- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
- Implement evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
- One year recent experience in the Operating Room/Post-Anesthetic Room
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to deal with others effectively
- Demonstrated physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
