Financial Planning and Analysis Responsibilities

  • Generate monthly financial statements for various divisions and address inquiries from respective teams.
  • Compile weekly occupancy statistics and additional marketing reports.
  • Examine and track historical and current trends in key performance metrics, including revenue and expenditure; identify trends and investigate reasons for unexpected discrepancies.
  • Assist the Senior Financial Analyst with special projects and analytical tasks.
  • Contribute to the formulation of annual operational budgets across multiple divisions.
  • Support the operations team with on-demand requests and data collection.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of existing budgeting, tracking, and reporting tools, and suggest enhancements where applicable.

Accounting & Finance Team Contributions

  • Participate in the month-end closing process.
  • Draft and propose journal entries for assigned responsibilities.
  • Verify balance sheet accuracy through account reconciliations.
  • Prepare year-end audit documentation and respond to inquiries from external auditors.
  • Provide support for other Finance Team members as needed.
  • Timely preparation and submission of periodic governmental reports.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or business analysis, preferably in long-term care, retirement, or a related sector.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; pursuit of CPA designation is highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to provide recommendations based on data insights.
  • Proficient in Excel, with the capacity to manage large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and collaborating with all organizational levels, particularly with leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 annually
