The Senior Analyst will work closely with multiple departments to guarantee the precision and effectiveness of financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate franchisee billing for acquisitions, resales, and renovations
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices through meticulous examination
  • Generate financial analyses and supply historical sales information to the Franchising Department
  • Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals during financial closing periods
  • Collaborate with teams to assess construction accruals and confirm their accuracy
  • Facilitate franchise billing processes and related activities
  • Assist in external audits and provide required documentation promptly
  • Engage with cross-departmental teams to enhance accounting operations
  • Address inquiries from franchisees and offer necessary assistance
  • Support the Manager in financial closing tasks, reporting, and analytical activities
  • Prepare reports and analyses concerning retail operations for franchisees
  • Identify potential areas for process enhancements
  • Act as a subject matter expert for system modifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion or nearing completion of CPA designation
  • Experience in comprehensive accounting practices under IFRS
  • Background in franchise accounting is advantageous
  • Prior experience in a large organization, ideally within the retail sector
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working independently
  • Quick learner with robust analytical capabilities
