Position Overview:
The Implementation and Product Consultant will engage in the technical dimensions of the deployment process for new and evolving projects at CB Canada. Individuals in this position are tasked with collaborating with clients, collecting requirements, showcasing best practices, steering functional design discussions, and aiding in the delivery of solutions utilizing the Salesforce platform.
This role is remote, and we welcome candidates from across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate business requirements gathering sessions and design workshops with clients and/or partners, employing consulting techniques to uncover business challenges.
- Contribute to the development of end-to-end process integrations, customization, maintenance, and deployment of components.
- Work alongside Salesforce and various internal teams to devise innovative business solutions.
- Generate design specifications and provide implementation/support documentation and mapping.
- Estimate design, build, test, and implementation phases while ensuring quality and precision.
- Verify that client configuration and business requirements documents are thorough, accurate, and approved by the client.
- Assist in configuring test and production environments based on the agreed solution design; manage data uploads and conduct client demonstrations as necessary.
- Actively enhance product knowledge through self-directed learning, attending meetings, and participating in projects.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Experience in software deployment, ideally within a technology organization supporting cloud-based applications with a consulting focus.
- Over 5 years of experience in integration technologies.
- At least 3 years of experience with application integration layers and customization.
- Proven track record in delivering projects using leading implementation methodologies.
- Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and/or Managed Service Provider (MSP) solutions.
- Familiarity with data transformation tools.
- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) is preferred.
- Proficient in XML/XSL and Web Services (UDDI, SOAP, REST, WSDL).
- Experience in workflow development and configuration.
- Understanding of IT transformation and experience in aligning business needs with IT deliverables.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with the Salesforce platform.
- Strong design and development skills for web-based SaaS applications.
- Solid background in application development and systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Visio, Excel, Word, PPT).
- Able to engage with both business and technical stakeholders; comfortable making recommendations and presenting to executives.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, acting as a liaison between groups.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, capable of transforming reporting and analysis into actionable insights and execution plans.
- Ability to distill and prioritize complex requirements into clear specifications.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of defining and executing projects independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Services, or a related field.
