Position Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for assessing, designing, and enhancing manufacturing techniques, leveraging expertise in product design, materials, manufacturing processes, and production equipment capabilities, as well as assembly methods and quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, design, and enhance manufacturing techniques.
  • Identify deficiencies and enhance a Quality Program to ensure compliance with the Quality Policy.
  • Initiate improved reporting, materials planning, and system planning.
  • Detect patterns of non-compliance, recommend corrective actions, and communicate findings to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the MRP environment while assisting in operational functions.
  • Utilize existing engineering documentation to structure, prepare, create, and maintain BOMs and hardware lists in the MRP system.
  • Provide technical support for the MRP system, manufacturing equipment, and tools.
  • Lead and collaborate on projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Effectively manage engineering requirements during MRP implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
  • Proficient in CAD/Solidworks.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.
  • Effective communication skills with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in standard English, both spoken and written.
  • Legally authorized to work in the applicable country.
  • Experience in CNC programming.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
